Production
Attack The Block was financed by Investor. It had a budget of approximately $13,000,000. Joe Cornish was the director and writer. Nira Park and James Wilson produced the film. It was filmed in two locations. These are Heygate Estate, Southwark, London and Islington, London. An interesting find is Joe Cornish was inspired to make this film after being mugged one night.
Distribution
There was an official Attack The Block website which included videos, story, photos, cast and crew, bios, games, cinema and competitions. There was also merchandise like t shirts. There was a premiere for the film.
